I’m from Canada but have a Version 1 WRX RA which is also white. I had it repainted this summer because of paint defects it came with and I was installing a new trunk and STi Version II spoiler, along with Chargeback kit (front and rear spats with sideskirts).

I have one problem though, the area around the trunk (visible when lifting the boot) is bad, they never painted it.

What kind of equipment is required to do a 2-stage paint job like this?

Just a quick update, the old BMW went back OK with no charge by the leasing company and the new one arrived all shiney and new. Peter

After leaving my car in car parks & coming back to damage over the years – I would say if it’s going to happen…it’s going to happen! I had a car keyed in a car park years ago, got a bad dent/scratch whilst the shires was being built & had to have a new panel after leaving my car on its own in a private car park for 4hours! When in the city centre I use the John Lewis or Dover Street to park…..I seem to have no probs with either of them!

I know several female friends who hide things like this so will remember you next time it crops up! I would of been like this too if I hadn’t wrote off (both were at fault) a brand new car that my partner had bought me after only having it 3 weeks lol! Fortunately my insurance replaced it with a brand new car. Phew!

Yes leave a card! I have experienced 2 bad car park scratches & spent £800 in insurance excess to get them fixed. Had I of found a card on my car, I would of called you for a quote first!

Just had an excellent visit from Peter, where he advised me on a scratch on my car bonnet. The way he advised me was straight-forward and honest. He even gave me a few tips as well. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Peter, we’re absolutely delighted with the repair to the scratch on the side of our Mazda. Same day service is outstanding, and there’s absolutely no sign of there ever having been any damage.
